                                Her lecture was a very important lecture for us. How important is the English language in our lives? She shared her university experiences with us during her lecture. In the first year, she didn't have much English knowledge either. She has also worked hard and dedicatedly improved her English knowledge. As she said, actually why do we need the English language? We need English in many situations. When getting a new job English is often required when filling out a form. English is needed to read English newspaper and to read English books. English language also helps us to talk with the people of that country when we go abroad. As an example, she showed us a small part of a film. The film shows how a woman who moved from India to another country found herself helpless in many situations due to her lack of English skills. She often felt helpless because she didn't know the English language. So she realized the value of learning English and went to a class to learn English. Like the woman in that film, we too should improve our English knowledge. Ms. Chathurangi Abeshika gave us a very valuable motivational lecture. 💙🙏
